Adella Prentiss Hughes Autograph Album 1911-1940

Adella Prentiss Hughes (1869-1950) was the founder of the Musical Arts Association and co-organizer and manager of the Cleveland Orchestra in Cleveland, Ohio. The collection consists of a leather bound album containing autographs of many famous musicians and other persons whom Mrs. Hughes entertained in her home, including Igor Stravinsky, Nikolai Sokoloff, and Serge Prokofieff.
